STEP TWO:

Look for inspiration.
Look at pictures of quilts/projects you like. Think about the colorways that appeal to you or general colors such as brights, pastels, fall, or monochromatic.
Tip: Use websites, such as Pinterest, to find projects that match your taste.

STEP THREE:

Gather and organize
Gather and organize the supplies that you will bring to class. Make sure your sewing machine is in working order.
Tip: Scissors, pins, needles, bobbins, seam rippers, and everything that comes with your machine, including the manual, are the general sewing supplies that may not be provided at the class and you will have to bring. Contact the class instructor if you are unsure of what to bring.

STEP FOUR:

Bring your supplies to class!
Bring everything you need to class (including you) to ensure the best time possible while quilting!

STEP FIVE:
Have a positive attitude during class.
Come to class believing you will enjoy and learn new things. Support fellow students. Encourage them as that is the golden rule. That is the fun part about a class.

STEP SIX:

Ask questions.
Ask anything. There is no such thing as a dumb question. These classes are meant to teach and learn. Without asking questions, you just might leave the class not knowing anything new!
